President Obama will pick who will fill the empty spot in
the Supreme Court after the death of Justice Antonin Scalia. He will make the announcement
at 11 am. He will being making this announcement at the Rose Garden. President Obama
says that he has put a lot of time and thought into who he will being picking
this morning. The senate republican feels as though the next president should
pick who will fill the spot, for some strange reason, and has vowed to not hold
hears on the president’s choice. President Obama said that he took three things
in to consideration while picking “a mastery of the law, an understanding of
the limits of the judiciary to interpret and not make the law, and life
experience that provides an understanding of the effect on the law beyond the
courtroom in Americans’ daily life.” Say president Obama.
