Life of a Transfer Student

Transfer Students
By Alicia Humphrey

There are a lot of transfer students that came to Crete. Some like things about the school, and other dislike some things.

David Lovette, Victoria Lovette, both have their own outlooks about the school.
They once went here a year ago, but decided to transfer back.  Coming from their old school, and back to Crete has been a big change.  But for them it wasn’t that bad because they knew their way around somewhat and it wasn’t hard for them to make friends.

Also lucky for them some people already remembered who they were. Teachers like them, so far they haven’t been having any problems. Lovette said that Crete has a better atmosphere than her old school. She also likes the fact that Crete does pre-ACT practice.

Since David and Victoria have been back at Crete some things has changed like the way they dress, and being more focused in school rather than the things that are around them.  Some things they dislike about the school is that the lunch got healthier, they do not serve the same things in the snack bar that they used too, and on half of days the passing period is shorter.
