My Little S.B.

My plans over spring break are pretty simple though I didn’t plan on having my whole Spring Break filled with things to do. I should be going out to eat for one of my friend’s birthday. Then I will be getting dressed up and getting on another one of my friend’s party bus. Also my best friend is having a big sleepover at her house so that should be fun. I will be getting my license during next week. Unfortunately, I will not be going out of the state, but I will be going out of town to visit my sister in Kankakee before we come back to school.

Spring Break Plans

My biggest goals for spring break are to find a job and just enjoy my break. Hopefully i can have fun and do things with a lot of different people.I also hope it gets warm outside so i can get some football work in with the guys .I'm kind of looking forward to Easter too to spend time with my family.

Sometimes I wish Spring Break could be two week instead of one week. It goes by so fast you don’t get to do the things you wanted to do. I plan on doing a couple of things over break. First, I have a college visit a SIUC. I plan on staying down there for at least two or three days.

Then of course I have work, which I will be dreading. Then I’ll probably go to some spring break parties if there are any happening. I really just want to sleep in the whole break, but I just know that isn’t going to happen.

Spring Break Plans

Even though spring break is only a week I’m going to make the best of it.  The only thing that I have planned is a college visit. My best friend and I, and two other guys are driving down to Champagne to visit Parkland. Hopefully everything goes as planned. Another thing that I am excited about is me starting my new job over spring break. Everything else that happens is unplanned, but I’ll keep my fingers crossed on good things happening. If the weather warm up I would love to go to the zoo but as of right now guess I have to look for other things to do.

For Spring Break, I'm planning on staying home and gathering my thoughts together. Prepare for graduation and prom, and establishing plans to make the last few weeks of being a Senior the smoothest I can. Of course i'll be working too, so that's even better. Just want to be prepared as soon as I can for college. Of course I'll cool it with the guys but at the same time handle business. I'm all about grinding behind the scenes

Spring Beak

Over spring break i will be getting a lot of stuff done. I will be getting ready for prom, my birthday boxing matches. Also i'm going to see my brother. Spring break is a good time to get stuff done even though there is summer breaks and some days out of school. Spring break is a good time to get ready for prom and graduation. A lot of seniors are stressing out about prom. Most of the girls are why because they have to get there hair done and nails and find a date and most importantly find a dress. Spring break will be very hectic for most people.

On my spring break I hope to do at least one thing that I have not done in a long time. I would like to go bowling, to the zoo, or some kind of outside theme park. I also would like to hang out with my boyfriend and hopefully get some extra days at work so my paycheck can be a little more than it was last week. I also look forward to Easter with my family as well because since my brother moved out we don’t spend as much time as we use too anymore so for me that would be an ideal spring break.

One thing you can do in Chicago around August is the Bud Billiken Parade it usually happens in the second week in August. It is the oldest and largest African American parade in the United States since 1929. People all ages come together to watch dance groups, cheer teams, step teams, fire fighters, police officers   and many more.  It is one day out of the summer where everyone comes together to have fun.  The parade is so crowed there don’t really be any parking and all the news channels be there. I danced in the parade one time when I was younger; it was one of my best experiences while growing up in Chicago.

Chicago Attractions

From fine dining to world class shopping, there are so many attractions to visit in Chicago. Chicago is a city of various neighborhoods, and each of them is special in their own way. You’ll never run out of things to do in Chicago.
Top 5 attractions by me:

1.     Brook field Zoo: Most well-known zoo that most kids have been to in their elementary days, like me. This zoo is home to nearly 6, 000 animals, including 3,000 invertebrates, representing 436 species.
2.     Navy Pier: At Navy Pier you can shop, eateries, an IMAX cinema and a bevy of sightseeing boat tours. They also have this 150-foot-high Ferris wheel, plus an old-fashioned swing ride and 18-hole mini-golf course.
3.     Water Tower Place: If your downtown and looking for a place where you can shop til you drop then the Water Tower is the perfect place for you. Its seven stories filled with stores , and also can grab something to eat
4.     North Ave. Beach: This beach is one of Chicago’s most popular beaches because it has so much to offer rather than just playing in the water. From playing volleyball to renting a bike to ride the lakefront.
5.     Shedd Aquarium : This 75-year old  institution is home to 32,000 animals and their enduring favorites such as piranhas, frogs and snakes of the Amazon; rays, turtles and moray eel of the Caribbean.

Welcome to America

America is the country for tourist, we have so many historical landmarks  world famous statues, and buildings. One of our most famous and most talked about statues is the Statue of liberty, located in New York. The Statue of liberty was given to us as a gift from France. We also have the Golden Gate Bridge, The White House, Times Square and Mount Rushmore National Memorial, just to name a few. We have a lot of interesting foods, culture changes, and different nationalities. As a country we probably  the most diverse. We have so many eye catchers that most will be in awe of the things America has to offer. We have a lot of places and sights that the history of our country was built on. For anyone traveling to America for the first time, you will sipmly be amazed.

One of the city's main attractions is the Jordan Store. It's located on 3200 South State Street, Downtown Chicago. It was created as a Musuem-Like Emporium for sneakerheads and even the old-head supporters of the greatest player ever, Michael Jordan. Chicago has always been a rich city, but i've heard many people say that once Jordan was drafted, Chicago entered its "Golden Decade". Where thousands of tourists traveled to see him and to enjoy the City's atmosphere. Where Chicago stock and marketing skyrocketed due everyone's motivation to reach greatness. "To be like Mike" was the motto at the time, and to this day, this store reminds folks who've grown here the importance of being "From Chicago and For Chicago." I would recommend this place to everyone who wants to be apart of a key part Chicago's history, and to learn what the "Golden Decade" of Chicago looks like.

Places to Visit

America is really a place to visit. The best places to visit are “The Big Apple” aka New York, Florida, and of course Chicago. There is so much to see and do in America all around.
New York has the best shopping areas and why not visits were the Queen Bee (BeyoncĂ©) lives. Florida is very warm and has the best amusement parks around. The first one you want to visit is Universal Studios, and the most known, Walt Disney World. It'a a place were not only kids go to have fun but also adults. You get to relive your child hood again basically.
Last but not least, the Chicago-land is the place to be.  Chicago has some of the best food around. There’s always something to do in the Chicago area. Y'all would probably be excited to visit the sky walk in the Willis Tower.

Seniors we have exactly 31 more days of school left! The weather is changing, the time has gone forward, and it’s becoming harder to stay on top of assignments that we don't want to do. All the girls have started prom dress shopping and everyone is just excited as we near the ending of our high school years heading into our college adult life. This is a milestone in all of our lives because its time to get into the real world and shape our lives and also shape the individuals that we would like to be. The countdown is official.

If you come to America you should visit the Yellowstone National Park. It is a national park in the state of Wyoming.  Yellowstone National Park is a huge wilderness recreation park. It’s almost 3,500-sq.-miles. It sits on top of a volcanic hot spot. The park actually runs over to Montana and Idaho too but it’s mostly in Wyoming. Yellowstone has alpine, lush forests, amazing canyons, hot springs and geysers, with its most famous Old Faithful. There are also hundreds of different types of animals that live there. There are wolves, bison, elk, bears and antelope. So if you come to America you should stop and give the Yellowstone National Park a visit.
