One of the city's main attractions is the Jordan Store. It's located on 3200 South State Street, Downtown Chicago. It was created as a Musuem-Like Emporium for sneakerheads and even the old-head supporters of the greatest player ever, Michael Jordan. Chicago has always been a rich city, but i've heard many people say that once Jordan was drafted, Chicago entered its "Golden Decade". Where thousands of tourists traveled to see him and to enjoy the City's atmosphere. Where Chicago stock and marketing skyrocketed due everyone's motivation to reach greatness. "To be like Mike" was the motto at the time, and to this day, this store reminds folks who've grown here the importance of being "From Chicago and For Chicago." I would recommend this place to everyone who wants to be apart of a key part Chicago's history, and to learn what the "Golden Decade" of Chicago looks like.
