SUPER TUESDAY

"Super Tuesday", which is set for March 1st this year, refers to the day where a dozen states and one territory will hold their nominating contests this year. "Super Tuesday" is the unofficial name for a Tuesday during the presidential primary election when the most states hold their nominating contests. Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, and Virginia hold contests for both Republicans and Democrats today.
